TLIF (Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion) Cage, also known as Kidney Cage is a spinal orthopedic implant used in spinal fusion surgery of the lumbar spine. Specifically designed to be placed between the vertebrae to create space for bone grafting and promoting spinal fusion. The lordotic angle of the implant mimics the natural curvature of the lower back for improved alignment. Made out of PEEK material, these cages prove to be lighter, potentially reducing post-operative stress on the spine.
