DCP Broad Plate
Used to treat humeral pseudarthrosis and as a tension band plate for femoral fractures. It should not be used on the tibia. The MC-DCP (Minimal contact dynamic compression plate) perforations allow compression in both longitudinal axis directions.
Specifications:
- Screws to be used: All holes take cortical screws with a diameter of 4.5 mm. The end hole can be used for cancellous screws with a diameter of 6.5mm. Undercutting for vascular.
- Reduced bone-to-plate contact and preservation of the periosteal blood flow are benefits of limited-contact surfaces.
- Fixation with 4.5 & 6.5mm screws.
- Plates available holes 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16.
- Available in both Titanium and Stainless steel.
