Square Plate
A Square Plate is an orthopedic implant used in maxillofacial surgeries. These plates are specifically used in the chin bone (mandible) and have very similar engineering to chin plates. The shape of the implants allows for greater stability and support during surgeries. The “square shape” provides a wider surface area for bone grafting and tissue regeneration. The rigidity of the implant prevents further fractures or bone displacement.
