5.5mm Ligament Anchor, Peek Knotless
A ligament anchor with a diameter of 5.5mm is now at Zealmax Ortho. This implant, known as the 5.5mm Ligament Anchor, PEEK Knotless, is a non-absorbable suture anchor made of PEEK material, which has a low coefficient of friction and is highly resistant to abrasion. The anchor has a built-in eyelet made of the same material, which eliminates the need for knots in the suture. This technology reduces the amount of time needed for surgery and eliminates the potential for tissue irritation caused by knot stacks.
