Interference Screw (PEEK)

Arthroscopic ACL knee surgery is a minimally invasive surgical procedure in which a special camera and surgical tools are inserted into the knee through tiny holes. If the ligament is partially torn it is repaired by sewing and if it’s completely detached, it is reconstructed by replacing the torn ligament with a graft, usually taken from the hamstring or patellar tendon to fix which ACL screw is required. Since our ACL screws are made of high-performance PEEK material, it guarantees durability and no risk of infection or discomfort.

ACL Interference Cannulated Screw is an implant used in Arthroscopy to repair or reconstruct the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) which is one of the most frequently injured ligaments, especially during sports. ACL injuries happen when the ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) – one of a pair of ligaments located in the middle of the knee joint which is responsible for providing stability gets overstretched i.e. the fibres start to tear or get completely ruptured. To fix them, Arthroscopic ACL surgery is conducted that helps in restoring the functional stability of the knee while retaining a full range of movement.
