The 3.5mm LCP Symphyseal Plate (Round Hole) is an orthopedic implant used in pelvic surgeries to stabilize fractures or dislocations of the pubic symphysis where the two pubic bones meet at the front of the pelvis. The plate’s low profile design minimizes soft tissue irritation and the round holes allow for the use of both cortical screws and locking screws, providing flexibility in fixation. The plate is often pre-contoured to match the natural curvature of the pubic symphysis, ensuring a secure fit. The holes are 3.5mm in width and hence they can only accommodate screws that have a diameter of 3.5mm.
